Purpose and Objectives

       The Dansalan College is committed to the constitutional mandate, “All educational institutions shall inculcate patriotism and nationalism, foster love of humanity, respect for human rights, appreciation of the role of national heroes in the historical development of the country, teach the rights and duties of citizenship, strengthen ethical and spiritual values, develop moral character and personal discipline, encourage critical and creative thinking, broaden scientific and technological knowledge, and promote vocational efficiency” (198/ Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines Article XIV, Section 3 [2], and is also committed to encourage in appropriate ways the growth of the students religious faith and knowledge.

       The school seeks to expose students to the highest and best in human thought and experience so that they may become equipped to discern values and discover God’s will for their lives.

       In support of this latter objective, the school attempts to provide atmosphere in which Christian and Muslim young people can study, work and play together in mutual recognition and respect in regard of the different cultural and religious backgrounds.

       In addition, as member of the Church-Related Educational Action Towards Empowerment-United Church of Christ in the Philippines (CREATE- UCCP), Dansalan College Foundation “seeks a life of faith, learning and action that will develop people into becoming intellectually competent and honest, morally and ethically sensitive, creatively aware and responsive to the needs, aspirations and realization of a just, free and responsible social order.”
